Moonshine Cabaret Artists

Still something of an unknown to Tasmanian audiences, Blythe debuted as an honorary Aviator in 'Moonlight Aviators presents Opening Night'  and then joined them again for the Festival of Voices Cabaret Showcase in 2016. She has since performed with Matthew Ives and his Big Band, and can also be seen singing with Jarrod and the Hunters.

Performing as a soloist since her early twenties, Blythe is an accomplished entertainer, singing everything from classical to rock, and with the backing of 12-piece bands through to self-accompaniment on the harp.

Possessing an unidentified connection to circus, Blythe unknowingly developed a particular fondness for performing in themed events – inspired by such opportunities as being a mermaid in a shell; an angel on a highwire; and by the unusual experience of working with a live, two metre python. Never one to limit her skills and accomplishments, Blythe is also a solo performer, a National Champion pole dancer and a qualified coach for Men’s gymnastics!

Naturally, Blythe feels right at home with the Aviators and is delighted to be even more involved and displaying a broader range of skills in Moonshine Cabaret.
