We are looking for versatile dancers and performers, male and female, who are keen to learn the vintage dance styles the Aviators are known for; further develop their performance skills; expand their repertoire; and are willing to commit to joining our merry band.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I need to prepare anything, or have a dance routine ready for the audition?

- Not at all! Just turn up ready to dance and we'll teach you what we need to see.

What is the training commitment?

- At the moment, our Flight Crew trains on Tuesday evenings, but when preparing for a gig we may require one or two additional rehearsals. Rehearsals for larger-scale events may require two training sessions per week - additional sessions are usually dependant on location, time and performer availability.

What sort of commitments would I be signing up for?

- As an ensemble, Moonlight Aviators has a regular performance spot at Clarence Jazz Festival in February and at the Tassie Dancers Against Cancer showcase in September. We also take on corporate and festival gigs and will be investigating opportunities for presenting our full-length cabaret shows.
