Summertime ... on the Bellerive Boardwalk

It’s that time of year again! Summer is well and truly here (most of the time) and Clarence Jazz Festival is just around the corner. This year is the Festival’s 21st birthday and the celebrations are set to be fabulous! The extensive program has a zest of international pedigree, a selection of interstate favourites and a collection of local legends performing at nine gorgeous eastern shore venues across nine jazz-packed days.

Not surprisingly, the Aviators are delighted to be swooping in for Day 8 - and for their fifth consecutive year! Get ready to pack sunscreen and your Tassie tuxedo before wandering down to Bellerive Boardwalk for an evening of fine music and delicious refreshments that starts at 4pm.

Day 8, Saturday 25 February, is an evening for dancing with a fabulous selection of bands that will set you toes to tapping and your fingers to drumming. The Aviators are thrilled to be joined by The Spike Mason 4tet, Blues Point, The Rugcutters Jass Band, Dr V’s Swing Thing and The Matthew Ives Quintet. Performance brackets are at 6:15 and 7:30 … see you at the checkerboard dance floor!
