Centenary Celebration on the Horizon
How does a last minute trip to Bruny Island sound? Are you already heading over for the Ultra Marathon? How about a making a weekend of it with an enjoyable night of entertainment for good measure?
On Saturday, 30 November, the Lunawanna Memorial Hall Committee is hosting a fabulous evening of fun, music and entertainment to celebrate the Hall's first century - the 100th anniversary of the laying of it's foundation stone.

The hall is a memorial to all the district's servicemen and women - wherever they served - and the celebration will reflect this. The evening kicks off at 1800 hours with the official ceremony, followed by a wartime-themed dance, complete with live band, vintage dancers, licensed bar and traditional light supper. But the night doesn't end there - tunes from the sixties through to the present will spark memories and draw you onto the floor.
Embrace your favourite era and dress to match!
Tickets are $5 and will be sold at the door - with an incredible selection of lucky door prizes to be won.
Book a room or pack a tent - we'll see you on the dance floor!
