Moonshine Cabaret - a night of vintage entertainment!

If you've missed the announcement of our latest show and the recent release of tickets, jump on board now and join the jazz party as we launch The Sepulchre as Hobart's newest performance venue!

Experience a sumptuous speakeasy-style blues bar surreptitiously residing behind the imposing facade of a deliciously derelict gothic church. The Moonshine Club, an unorthodox location where Vaudevillian variety and illicit cocktails are dished out in equal measures, where theatre and jazz lounge combine, and where smouldering tunes fill the vaulted ceiling as night teeters into morning.

Sip a glass of bubbles or an exotic concoction created especially for the club and enjoy the non-stop entertainment of Moonshine Cabaret, a curious collection of performances from Moonlight Aviators and a scrumptious selection of local theatrical talent, supported by the fabulous Matthew Ives and his Little Big Band.

Sultry siren, Blythe Tait, is returning for her second show with the Aviators after having made her debut with Moonlight Aviators presents Opening Night - but this time she’ll be appearing, not only as a singer but also as a performer! Familiar to Hobart audiences as Dr Dillamond in Wicked, Benjamin Smith is making his Aviatorial entrée with a diverting designation of all-singing, all-dancing performance pieces. Last but not least, with an entertainment background hidden in her breast pocket and ‘discovered’ while participating in a lip-sync battle, Emilie is the wild card for Moonshine Cabaret that Blythe was for Opening Night!

Sit back, relax and enjoy this reanimation of the cabaret-style amusements of the jazz age - all with a significant walloping of style and an infusion of modest debauchery!

Tickets are available through TryBooking and for more information visit moonlightaviators.com and our Facebook event Moonshine Cabaret - Hobart.
